Yeah, imagine...for a nett spend of zero, zilch, zip, nada, nowt & nothing, Mourinho made the 'mistake' of swapping Ibrahimovic for... Eto'o, Sneijder, Milito, Lucio & Thiago Motta. And with that shower of shite, he is 4 games away from clinching an unprecedented treble in Italy.

As they might say... "If Carlsberg made mistakes..." lol.gif

'This' Inter team.

It wouldn't have been 'this' Inter team if those 5 players were swapped back, would it?

I still think the exchange of Eto'o for Ibrahimovic was a mistake personally. Probably from both points of view.

Not a mistake. All you have to do is watch Inter's 2 matches against Man Utd from last season and then compare those performances to this season's wins against Barsa and Chelsea. Last season they were so much more one-dimensional with Zlatan and Adriano up front, not to mention a lot slower and predictable in the final third, whereas this season that pacy trio of Eto'o, Sneijder, Milito link up brilliantly with one another and make the team more mobile and dangerous. I wouldn't say Eto'o has changed Inter's fortunes by himself but he is a vital part of a very effective attacking system. Eto'o has been a bigger success than Zlatan.

I thought this Ibra at Barca thing would work, I thought he'd have 4 players spinning of him and being a focal point of the attack. Not worked like that.

I think Ibra in this Inter side would still be pretty interesting, not really been massively enamoured by Eto'o this season to be honest.
