They should be playing 4 - 3 - 2 - 1, aka the pyramid formation.

Capello must be in de Nile if he thinks Walcott is good enough for England.

Waddle on Walcott (5 Live):
"I've been analysing Walcott's wing play and I've come to the conclusion he does not understand the game" LOL If he wasn't an Arsenal player he'd be nowhere near the England squad. Fully fit - might be a different story. Strange one, plenty of pace, well, all he has is pace. He seems to have stagnated. But then only Arsenal fans can confirm this and I'm sure Zero will cite those injury issues. Get the feeling that Theo's hype was built around the fact that he can finish and when stuck in a side like Arsenal he'll get plenty of goal scoring opps. I've seen very little else in the past couple of years to suggest he's got a sublime touch and the brain of Henry. I blame David Dein for talking Erikkson in taking him to the WC. |

Crouch yet again, offside though. Now I'm expected to move out as if by supporting Tottenham I actively lead to this happening.

I've seen very little else in the past couple of years to suggest he's got a sublime touch and the brain of Henry. He will never ever be Henry, but he's a lot better than he's showing. I'm not too worried about him and the WC, he should be more concerned about Arsenal anyway. Playing for both England sides is what messed him up last summer. The patience isn't limitless though, he can't continue to take so long to find form after his injuries, especially as he's getting injured so often. -------------------- No deal McCutcheon, that moon money's mine!

He's had enough time, he's flattered to deceive for 3 seasons now with some wonderful finishing interspersed with a total inability to cross the ball and the first touch of a rapist. Good player on his day but he would probably thrive at a club a notch or two below us.

20 in 37 for Crouch is staggering. Indeed His stats don't read so well in the competetive fixtures.......but it's a chicken and egg situation as he isn't getting selected for them regularly. Can only be ignored for so long though? Meh, always liked him for England, not so keen seeing him at Spurs. Think he offers something different though, England weren't just lumping it up to him either like Spurs have been inclined to recently.....better players I guess. On that, I enjoyed the build up to the equaliser immensely, Egypt looked better than they did in the ACoN for my money incidentally -------------------- Coys

He was, as we say, inefficace, but on another day he could have had two goals to his name. Walcott's a mystery. A year ago at Croatia we were all heralding him as the second coming, now we all hope he's not going to the World cup. Milner looks the dogs' at the moment though, doesn't he? Play him at left back with three central defenders and then we can all share the pyramid joke again for old times' sake.. |

Gerrard was completely anonymous.
spooky has it right on Walcott. Nothing else to note except Ahmed is a cunt. hehe 14/88 -------------------- "There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is England".
